Tektronix ArbExpress is a Windows PC application for creating, editing, visualizing, and transferring arbitrary and standard waveforms to compatible Tektronix arbitrary/function generators (AFGs and AWGs). It offers intuitive drawing tools and parameter-driven editors, supports importing waveform data from common text and CSV formats, and provides waveform math and concatenation to build complex signal sequences. Users can preview key parameters such as amplitude and sample rate, verify instrument limits, and then download waveforms directly to the instrument over USB or GPIB using Tektronix connectivity utilities. ArbExpress can also bring in captured waveforms from Tektronix oscilloscopes for quick editing and regeneration, making it easy to replicate real-world signals. Typical uses include prototyping test stimuli, recreating measured events, building signal libraries, and streamlining bench workflows without writing code. Features include library management, basic filtering and windowing tools, sequencing support, and export options for reuse in other tools.
